About The Event

*This is an invite-only, limited capacity event. Please register or let us know by email as soon as possible if you'd like to join.*

Based on the encouraging success of Biotech Investing in Longevity on May 1, we’re striving to build a continuous community around progress in longevity.

We'll start by gathering over hors d'oeuvres to update each other on new longevity projects and opportunities for collaboration. We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Joon Yun to kick us off by sharing exciting updates on his ambitious effort to coordinate the longevity space via Academies and Prizes.

Dr. Joon Yun is President and Managing Partner of Palo Alto Investors LP, a healthcare hedge fund founded in 1989. Joon is a member of the President's Circle of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Joon has published dozens of patents and scientific articles. Joon and his wife Kimberly launched the $1 million Palo Alto Longevity Prize in 2013 to reverse the aging process and recently donated $2 million to launch the National Academy of Medicine Aging and Longevity Grand Challenge.

Joon observes that “we are still losing 500,000 a week silently and forever to aging. Until there is progress, urgency makes sense.” Please join us to turn the road to progress into well-connected avenues of cooperation.

This event is brought to you by a partnership between Aikora Health, Foresight Institute, and IndieBio. We’re invited a small and tightly curated group -- please let us know as soon as possible if you’d like to join. If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to nominate someone to attend on your behalf.
